Community Infrastructure Levy

The Community Council receives 15% of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) receipts from certain liable developments within the Community Council area. The CIL is administered by the Planning Service within Caerphilly County Borough Council.

To date the Town Council has received £71,075.98 to spend on local projects.

Funds have been committed towards an outdoor gym, skate park and new slide in the current playground. Both projects are advancing well and will come to fruition in the next year.

Suggestions for future projects can be sent to the Community Clerk but they should have a lasting benefit for both residents and visitors.
